ROCKWELL -- Rockwell resident and Salisbury Police officer
Timothy Justin Crews
is looking out for the employees, he said, as he makes his first bid for
alderman.
His prime concern is helping employees get better pay and better
benefits, he said.
"I want to help the town of Rockwell grow by being a voice for the
community and its employees," Crews said.
Although this would be his first run for an elected office, he said he
brings with him life experiences.
"I live in Rockwell and I know what needs to be done to help the city
grow," Crews said.
A 1994 graduate of East Rowan High School, Crews, 32, has been in law
enforcement for 10 years and has been with the Salisbury Police Department
since 1999.
He is member of the Salisbury-Rowan Fraternal Order of the Police.
Crews lives on Gold Hill Avenue with his wife, Misty, their daughter,
Lily, 4, and son Jett, 1.
